360 Feedback for Coaches

For a coach, a 360 turns a client's self-view into evidence: how their manager, peers and team actually experience them. It gives the first sessions a concrete agenda, and a second 360 later shows whether behaviour changed. The hard part is usually the admin: chasing reviewers, keeping answers anonymous and turning comments into themes.

Where a 360 fits in a coaching engagement

  • Before or at the start: the client completes a self-assessment and invites 4–8 colleagues.
  • Debrief session: walk through the gaps between self-view and others' view, then pick one or two focus areas.
  • Development plan: turn themes into specific behaviours and practice opportunities.
  • After 6–12 months: a short follow-up 360 shows what others have noticed.

Running client 360s with AI360Feedback PRO

The PRO dashboard lets you run 360s on behalf of clients, without them creating accounts:

  • Create a campaign for each client and set the deadline.
  • Send the client their self-assessment link and the reviewer link to share with colleagues.
  • Track responses for all clients in one dashboard.
  • Open each AI report: strengths, blind spots and perception gaps, with practical recommendations, exportable as PDF for the debrief.

Debrief questions that work

  • What surprised you most, and what did you expect?
  • Where is the biggest gap between how you see yourself and how others see you?
  • Which strength could you use more deliberately?
  • If you changed one behaviour, which would people notice first?
  • Who could you ask for a follow-up conversation about one theme?

Protecting anonymity and trust

  • Ask for at least three reviewers per group before showing group results.
  • Agree with the client up front who sees the report (usually only the client and coach).
  • Read comments for themes, not for guessing who wrote them, and model that in the debrief.

No. Reviewers answer by link in about 10 minutes, anonymously.

Can I try PRO with a client first?
