Your Big Five profile
Scores run from 0 to 100. There are no good or bad results: each end of a trait has its strengths.
That’s how you see yourself. Do your colleagues agree?
Personality tests only show your own view. A free 360 adds how your manager, peers and team see you, with an AI report on the gaps.

The Big Five (also called the five-factor model, or OCEAN) is the personality model most used in psychological research. It describes personality on five broad traits, each a scale rather than a type: most people sit somewhere in the middle.
The five traits
- Extraversion
- Where you get your energy: from people and activity, or from quieter, focused time.
- Agreeableness
- How you relate to others: warmth, trust and cooperation versus directness and challenge.
- Conscientiousness
- How you organise yourself: planning, reliability and attention to detail versus flexibility and spontaneity.
- Emotional stability
- How you handle pressure: calm and steady versus sensitive to stress and setbacks (the opposite of “neuroticism”).
- Openness
- How you approach ideas: curiosity, imagination and new experiences versus the practical and proven.
Frequently asked questions
Is this the Myers-Briggs (MBTI) test?
No. This test uses the Big Five model, which measures traits on a scale instead of sorting people into types. It is the model most researchers use, and its questions are free to use. It is not affiliated with the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator or any other branded test.
Where do the questions come from?
From the International Personality Item Pool (IPIP), a public-domain collection of personality items created for research: the 50-item Big-Five factor markers by Lewis Goldberg.
How accurate is it?
It is a good, quick indication, not a clinical assessment. Your scores are relative to the scale (0–100), not compared with a population sample, so treat them as a starting point for reflection.
Do you store my answers?
No. The test runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers unless you choose to share a link, which contains only your five scores.
How is this different from a 360?
A personality test shows how you see yourself. A 360 asks the people you work with how they experience you, which is often where the most useful surprises are. You can run one for free on this site.
